Marketing on Twitter – Are You Ready For the Next Level in Internet Marketing?

If you are ready to kick your marketing business up a notch it’s time to get started marketing on Twitter. Twitter is the wave of the future for Internet marketers and something you need to start now working into your daily marketing efforts.

This is not one of those throw your name out there and wait for the hits to roll your way types of deals, but if you work it right, you can make Twitter a powerful force for driving traffic to your landing page or to people to sign up for your newsletter.

The question you need to be asking yourself is this: am I ready for more from my Internet marketing efforts?

If the answer is “yes,” then buckle up. Your business is about to take off.

Sign up for your Twitter account and start following people. If you have aliases for different marketing campaigns, be sure that you sign up using your alias and follow everyone that is in your address book for that particular marketing campaign as well.

But, how does Twitter marketing help?

1) It’s viral. You follow people and they follow you in return. But the magic kicks in when the people who follow them find you by chance and follow you too. Followers see the messages you “tweet” and sometimes do something known as “retweeting” where they share your message with the people who are following them. This gets even more followers. Why do you need followers? Followers are actually quite likely to sign up for your newsletter and visit your landing page. It’s free advertising!

2) It allows you to receive feedback. Twitter is a fast-paced, fast moving machine. The messages are short and concise but there is opportunity for maximum feedback in a manner that blogs and emails have never managed to achieve. The messages are instant as is the feedback. Learn from what others have to say and respond quickly to concerns and compliments.

3) It’s casual. This is perhaps the biggest benefit of Twitter for many people in Internet marketing. It puts a human face on the business personae. In other words, it’s not quite as formal as blogs, websites, or even newsletters. It gives you the opportunity to “let your hair down” and your audience the chance to see that side of you. It gives them the opportunity to feel as though they know you. This often makes them more likely to do business with you as a result of the relationship.

There is no time better than right now to get started with your Internet marketing efforts on Twitter. Sign up for your account today and put a little “bam!” in your business.
